Joe Cova è un cantautore italiano. Scrive e canta sia in italiano che in inglese, muovendosi musicalmente tra il folk americano e il jazz.
Da ragazzo ha studiato pianoforte classico, ma quando gli è stato presentato il blues è rimasto folgorato e ha preso una strada diversa per dedicarsi ai grandi generi musicali americani: Jazz, Soul, Tango, Salsa, Bossa Nova....
Nel frattempo ha inseguito la tradizione italiana della canzone di montagna e dei testi di cantautori di tutte le culture: Bob Dylan, Fabrizio De Andrè, Francesco De Gregori, Georges Brassens, Wolf Biermann...
Nel 2018 ha registrato il suo primo album "Troppo a sud", disponibile sulle principali piattaforme di streaming.
Il suo nuovo album è in fase di registrazione.

Joe Cova ist ein italienischer Singer-Songwriter. Er schreibt und singt sowohl auf Italienisch als auch auf Englisch und bewegt sich musikalisch zwischen amerikanischem Folk und Jazz.
Als Junge studierte er klassisches Klavier, aber als er den Blues kennenlernte, war er wie vom Donner gerührt und schlug einen anderen Weg ein, um sich den großen amerikanischen Musikgenres zu widmen: Jazz, Soul, Tango, Salsa, Bossa Nova....
In der Zwischenzeit verfolgte er die italienische Tradition der Berglieder und Texte von Songwritern aller Kulturen: Bob Dylan, Fabrizio De Andrè, Francesco De Gregori, Georges Brassens, Wolf Biermann...
Im Jahr 2018 nahm er sein erstes Album "Troppo a sud" auf, das auf den wichtigsten Streaming-Plattformen verfügbar ist.
Sein neues Album wird derzeit aufgenommen.

Joe Cova is an Italian singer-songwriter. He writes and sings in both Italian and English, moving musically between American folk and jazz.
